AZ Blue is now using the Availity Essentials portal for select features

Blue Cross® Blue Shield® of Arizona (AZ Blue) is committed to simplifying business processes and improving your online experience. To help you streamline your everyday workflows, AZ Blue has begun moving their provider portal to Availity Essentials (Essentials). Essentials offers secure online access to payer transactions and resources for AZ Blue and several other health plans.

Not registered?

No problem. Availity is ready to help you get your organization registered and set up user accounts for your staff.

You may now use Essentials to:

  • Check AZ Blue member eligibility and benefits
  • View/download member ID cards and benefit books*
  • Submit claims to AZ Blue
  • Check claims status (includes four different search options)
  • Enroll in or update electronic funds transfer (EFT)
  • Access additional AZ Blue resources through a dedicated payer space

*Medicare Advantage plan benefit books are not available at this time.
