Availity Essentials™ (Essentials) is the secure provider portal for Oscar Health. This website is for Oscar providers to learn about how to get started with Essentials begin utilizing the latest time-saving tools. Here are some of the tools and features available in Essentials for Oscar providers:
Starting June 15, 2026, Oscar Health will offer electronic authorization submission and management through Availity Essentials™.
You will be able to submit and manage inpatient and outpatient authorization requests using the same digital workflow you already use for other participating health plans.
No more faxing, mailing, or calling.

Managing authorizations can be time‑consuming and disruptive to care delivery. With Oscar Health authorizations in Availity Essentials, you can:

Submit inpatient and outpatient authorization requests electronically and receive real‑time feedback, often within minutes.
Check status without calling
Use the Authorization and Referral Inquiry tool to check request status online, without waiting on hold.
Stay organized with less effort
Use the Authorization and Referral Dashboard to view all submitted requests in one place, with filters that help you prioritize and manage your workload efficiently.

Before registering, you must designate an Administrator. This individual must have the legal authority to sign agreements for your organization and will be responsible for:

Oscar Health is collaborating with Availity to develop and improve online tools for their provider network.
Availity Essentials is an online, multi-payer portal that gives providers, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals access to multiple payer information with your own secure user ID and password.
Healthcare professionals have free access to real-time information and instant responses in a consistent format regardless of the payer. Availity is compliant with all HIPAA regulations, and there is no cost for providers to register or use any of the online tools.
Availity Essentials provides a singular provider experience for the authorization and referral process for Oscar Health. Oscar Health is partnering with Availity to make transactions easier and simpler and reduce administrative burden.
Oscar Health authorizations will be available in Availity Essentials starting June 15, 2026.

If you are the administrator for your organization, you first need to register a user account. Go to www.availity.com and select Portal Login in the upper-right corner of the page. Select Create Account. For registration training, refer to Availity’s provider registration training site.
