
Michael Gaven is a seasoned healthcare and enterprise technology executive with over 30 years of experience leading high-performing teams, scaling go-to-market strategies, and driving consistent double-digit growth across some of the most recognized brands in the industry. As Chief Growth Officer at Availity, Michael leads the company’s revenue-generating initiatives across sales, marketing, customer success, and strategic partnerships—working to expand Availity’s impact in simplifying healthcare and delivering measurable value to payers, providers, and patients alike.
Prior to joining Availity, Michael served as Senior Vice President of Healthcare at Salesforce, where he was responsible for the company’s commercial and enterprise healthcare business across the U.S. Under his leadership, Salesforce’s healthcare portfolio outpaced company growth rates, with dramatic gains in customer satisfaction, sales execution, and enterprise deal volume. He pioneered the development of Salesforce’s Healthcare Industry Council and helped build a destination organization known for best-in-class operational rigor and talent development.
Earlier in his career, Michael held multiple senior leadership roles at Oracle, including responsibility for the US Retail ERP/EPM applications business. He led successful go-to-market transformations, built high-performing teams, and drove substantial growth in annual contract value across multiple verticals. He began his career in enterprise technology sales and quickly earned a reputation as a trusted leader, mentor, and results-driven strategist.
Michael is widely recognized for his ability to align strategy with execution, foster inclusive and accountable cultures, and deliver exceptional customer value. His areas of expertise include alliance and channel strategy, value-based selling, generative AI applications, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement across highly regulated industries.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business.
