Hannah Alphs Jackson, MD, MHSA, leads the company’s clinical strategy and helps ensure healthcare innovation remains grounded in the realities of care delivery, payment, and patient outcomes. As Availity’s Chief Medical Officer, she works across product, technology, data, compliance, commercial, and customer-facing teams to strengthen payer-provider collaboration, advance interoperability, and guide the responsible application of artificial intelligence and automation.
Dr. Jackson brings a unique perspective shaped by leadership experience on both the provider and payer sides of healthcare. A physician by training, Dr. Jackson has held roles as Chief Medical Officer and Vice President, Enterprise Healthcare Management at HCSC and held leadership roles at Northwestern Medicine focused on value-based care, population health, managed care strategy, and healthcare transformation.
Throughout her career, she has focused on aligning clinical care, payment models, technology, and data to improve healthcare delivery at scale. She is widely recognized for her expertise in value-based care, population health, clinical quality, utilization management, government programs, healthcare data exchange, and payer-provider transformation.
Dr. Jackson earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a Master of Health Science Administration degree from the University of Michigan focused on healthcare policy and management.
