In this Q&A, we’re proud to spotlight Alimpana G., who shares reflections on her journey, the moments that mattered most, and what continues to inspire her as part of Availity.
Looking back on your time at Availity, what accomplishment or contribution are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of helping build learning experiences that strengthen culture and connection. Through onboarding journeys and learning initiatives such as the India Learning Series, I have seen associates engage from Day 1, share their experiences, and reflect on how they connect with our core values and learning culture.
How has your role evolved since you started?
I joined Availity with an initial focus on structuring and strengthening the onboarding and learning experience for the India office. Seeing that process mature into a well-established, self-sustaining program is one of my proudest accomplishments. Over time, my role evolved from managing operational details and building foundational processes to driving more strategic Learning & Organizational Development initiatives. Today, I have the opportunity to make independent decisions, design impactful learning experiences, support culture-building efforts, and contribute to talent development and organizational effectiveness across our globally and culturally diverse India and US locations.
Looking back, what advice would you give your first-day self?
Invest early in relationships. Take time to listen, understand people’s stories, and build trust with the teams and stakeholders around you. The work becomes more meaningful and impactful when it is rooted in genuine connection, collaboration, and shared purpose. Processes will evolve, but strong relationships will help you navigate change, learn faster, and create lasting impact.
What excites you most about where Availity is headed next?
The opportunity to bring together innovation, AI, and associate development while continuing to simplify healthcare and create a better experience for patients excites me. I’m also encouraged by how we are investing in both technology and culture, ensuring that as we grow, we remain human-centered and learning-focused.
When you think about our Core Values, which one resonates most with you, and why?
Explore Fearlessly resonates with me the most because learning starts with curiosity. In my role, I constantly challenge how we develop people, whether through AI-enabled learning, onboarding innovations, or the India Learning Series. I believe growth happens when we stay curious and keep experimenting.
What are three words you’d use to describe Availity today?
Innovative. Collaborative. Purpose-driven.
What’s one process, tool, or way of working that has changed during your time here?
The onboarding process in the India office has evolved significantly during my time at Availity. What started as a process that needed structure, clarity, and coordination has matured into a well-defined experience with strong stakeholder ownership and accountability. Today, teams understand their roles, collaborate effectively, and proactively contribute to the success of new hires. This shared ownership has created a smoother, more scalable, and consistently positive onboarding experience for everyone involved.
What do you appreciate most about your team right now?
What I appreciate most is our willingness to learn, collaborate, and support one another. We bring different perspectives to the table, yet there is a shared commitment to doing what is best for the business and our people. In everyday conversations, I see trust show up when someone offers a new idea, asks for feedback, or steps in to help. That openness and respect make everyone feel safe to contribute.
