Northeast Florida Excellence in IT Leadership Award
December 7, 2006 at the ITFlorida Awards Gala in Lake Buena Vista, FL
Availity was the recipient of the 2006 Northeast Florida Excellence in IT Leadership award. The award recognizes an outstanding business or initiative for exceptional leadership in furthering the use of IT to successfully advance economic, social, or technical development in Florida. ITFlorida appointed a select group of IT professionals to serve on a panel to review several nominations and elect a winner for each category. ITFlorida is a not-for-profit membership organization that represents Florida's diverse information technology communities on a statewide basis. The organization fills the need for a single statewide advocacy organization to represent Florida's IT-related technology sectors.
eHealthcare Leadership Awards
November 6, 2006 at the Tenth Annual Healthcare Internet Conference, Atlanta, GA
Availity was recognized as the Silver winner for the Best eBusiness Site for the Business/Process Improvement Applications or Products category, at the seventh annual eHealthcare Leadership Awards ceremony. More than 1,100 entries were received from firms representing 17 industry classifications, from hospitals and health systems to pharmaceutical firms and online health companies. One hundred judges familiar with health care and the Internet evaluated the web sites and awarded prizes in 12 categories. Judges looked at how sites compared with others in their organization’s classification. They also reviewed sites based on a proprietary multi-point standard of Internet excellence.
Consumer Directed Health Care Award

Availity was awarded second place for the 2005 Best Web Site Facilitating Patient Relationship Management. The Consumer Directed Health Care (CDHC) Awards are designed to recognize those companies, non-profits, organizations, foundations, government agencies, and academic entities for their excellence and advancement in programs, services, and products that enhance the consumer's ability to manage their health care expenditures and enhance health care quality. A panel of judges, which included leaders from various sectors of the health care industry, evaluated award entries based on the effectiveness and success of their programs to help improve the quality and delivery of consumer directed health care.
A.S.A.P. Alliance Innovation Award
February 8, 2005 at the Global Alliance Summit in Frisco, TX
Availity was the recipient of the 2005 A.S.A.P. Alliance Innovation Award for demonstrating excellence in alliance management during the 7th annual Global Alliance Summit. One of only four recipients of the 2005 Alliance Excellence Awards, Availity was recognized for demonstrating excellence in alliance management. The ceremony, attended by some 190 people from the US, Canada, France, Germany, Holland, Japan, and the UK, was sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Eli Lilly and Company, Hewlett-Packard Company, Pfizer and SAP sponsored the Summit. The Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (A.S.A.P.) Awards Committee consists of leading academics, thought leaders, consultants, and media representatives with extensive experience and insight into strategic alliances. Award recipients are companies that are exemplary -- serving as a model of effective management; innovative -- advancing the state of the art of alliance management; high-impact -- achieving business success through alliance management; and open -- willing to share experiences and best practices and willing to entertain outside groups in reasonable numbers.

Availity was recognized as the Gold winner for Best Interactive Site and the Gold winner for Best Overall Internet Site, both in the Business/Process Improvement category, at the fifth annual eHealthcare Leadership Awards ceremony. More than 1,200 entries were received from firms representing 17 industry classifications, from hospitals and health systems to pharmaceutical firms and online health companies. One hundred four judges familiar with health care and the Internet evaluated the web sites and awarded prizes in 10 categories. The judges looked at how sites compared with others in their organization’s classification and reviewed sites based on a proprietary multi-point standard of Internet excellence. The Best Overall Internet Site category had to pass muster on as many as 56 factors, including delivery of strong health content, interactivity, medical care support, integration with the organization's operations, as well as strength of web design and ease of navigation.

More than 1,200 entries were received from a wide range of health care organizations, online health companies, pharmaceutical firms, and business improvement/vendor sites. One hundred four judges evaluated health care web sites and awarded prizes in several categories including Best Special Effects, Best Site Design, Best Interactive, Best Health/Healthcare Content, Best e-Business, Best Care/Disease Management, Best Overall Internet Site, Best Intranet Site, and CEO eHealthcare Commitment. Prizes included Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Distinction by category. Judges looked at how sites compared with others in their organizations classification and reviewed sites based on a proprietary multi-point standard of Internet excellence. The Best Overall Internet Site category, for example, had to pass muster on as many as 56 factors. The eHealthcare Leadership Awards program was developed and first presented in 2000 by eHealthcare Strategy & Trends, a leading Internet resource published by Health Care Communications.
E-Fusion Award
September 30, 2003 at the A.M. Best Insurance and Technology Conference in Philadelphia, PA
Availity was named recipient of the second annual A.M. Best Co. E-Fusion Award for the Availity Health Information Network. The award recognizes outstanding, resourceful uses of Internet technology by an insurance organization. Availity was selected from five finalists who presented their entries at the conference. The finalists were selected at a previous judging from an initial field of 97 entries. Finalists included PersonalPlans by Marsh @WorkSolutions; AnnuiTRAC, a transactional Web site developed by Integrity Life Insurance Co.; PBO Online, built on the Wildnet Insurance Platform for Global Aerospace; and General Fire & Casualty Co.'s Geographic Information Systems Integration Project. Final-round judges were John Cashin of the law firm Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP; Michael A. Edwards, chief information officer, American Skyline Insurance Co.; William B. Jenkins, managing partner, SolvIT Consulting Group LLC; and Doug Walters, vice president, Acies Deliverie. A.M. Best Company, established in 1899, is a leading provider of ratings, news, data, and financial information for the global insurance industry. Best's Ratings are recognized worldwide as the benchmark for assessing insurers' financial strength and reflect an in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry developed during its 100-year relationship with the business.
TETHIE Award for Most Innovative IT Solution in the Payer Community

Availity received the second annual Emerging Technologies and Healthcare Innovations Excellence (TETHIE) Award for Most Innovative Information Technology in the Payer Community for its Availity Health Information Network solution, utilizing the Vitria (Nasdaq: VITR) business process integration platform, Vitria:BusinessWare. Now in its second year, the TETHIE awards recognize excellence in the areas of innovation and technology as it applies to the future of the healthcare industry. Availity was first selected from a field of more than 100 international applications as one of four finalists in the payer category. Other finalists included Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, the Motion Picture Industry Pension and Health Plans, and QCSI.
AstraZeneca-NMHCC Partnership Award

Availity was one of three winners selected to receive the 11th annual AstraZeneca-National Managed Health Care Congress (NMHCC) Partnership Award. The Annual Partnership Awards have become the industry's premier program for recognizing the nation's most successful and unique partnerships that exist within the health care industry, providing innovative ways of controlling spiraling health care costs while improving access and overall care. This award is presented annually to health care leaders and organizations that, in the judgment of their peers, have addressed quality, access, and efficiency of health care delivery with cooperation and collaboration. Availity was selected among more than 100 companies across the nation due to its innovative solution.
